Strength is the long-term insurance policy.
Muscle and bone are the two tissues that most reliably predict how the second half of a life goes. Both respond to progressive load and to almost nothing else. This path is the unglamorous, measurable business of adding load over years.

Progress the smallest thing that still works
Weekly jumps are a training-age question, not an ambition question. Most clients progress on a 1–2.5 kg ladder and never miss a rep — which is exactly why they are still adding load in year three.
Six patterns, trained for life
Squat, hinge, push, pull, carry, brace. Exercise selection rotates; the patterns do not. Novelty is a coaching failure dressed up as variety.
Recoverable beats maximal
Sessions are written to be repeatable next week. We train two reps shy of failure far more often than we train to it, because the programme has to survive a bad night of sleep.
You will notice it here first.
- Suitcases, kerbside bins and children stop being back-risk events.
- The same warm-up weight starts feeling like a warm-up weight.
- Numbers move slowly and never go backwards for long.
Start with the screen, not the programme.
The assessment tells us whether Strength is actually your first block — sometimes it is not, and we would rather find that out in ninety minutes than in twelve weeks.
